After 7 fun-filled years of "Racing In Plumper Sound" the RIPS Regatta has wound to a close. To all those who Volunteered, Sponsored or Raced in our event ~ we wish to THANK EACH ONE OF YOU for your participation. We all had great fun and, sometime in the future, we must hold a reunion.
Sadly a long-term RIPS competitor and avid sailor, Jon Richardson, passed away on April 24th. Often first to register (including RIPS 2012), Jon will be remembered with great fondness at the helm of White Wave. A Celebration of LIfe will be held at CFSA Esquimalt ~ please view details and more memories online at the Times Colonist.
